animeshon: (Dollhouse - Echo (just))

Finally got around to watching the last two Dollhouse episodes and man was I impressed. I loved the idea behind the engagement in Episode 10, it was just nice to see it as something so novel compared to the usual engagements.

My favourite part however was the Topher/Sierra bits, I swear he just imprinted her with a female version of himself :D

But then Episode 11 blew me away. I am so glad I stuck with the show after the first few not so shiny episodes. It was nice to see Alan Tudyk again as well, I loved his characters interactions with Agent Ballard. I also liked the altruistic nature of Echo's engagement.

I was completely blown away however when Alan Tudyk's character was revealed to be Alpha and he slashed up poor Victor's face! And the ending... WTF?! I'm sure that's not Caroline, at least it's nothing like the Caroline from the flashbacks when she was trying to rescue the animals from the research facility.

Also the scene with Dominic was interesting and I bet he wasn't actually asking for whiskey the drink, but rather mentioning Whiskey the active to Boyd.

The moment when Paul pulled him aside and put him in the active's t-shirt - I KNOW I wasn't the only one who went GUH 'He's really buffed up, hasn't he??'

I loved him as the geeky dork, and then the transition at the keyboard to menacing... And he played Paul like a cheap guitar. Was that hot?

A friend commented that Paul's obsession with Caroline doesn't seem lover-like, and maybe Paul is her brother or something of the sort. Thoughts?

He also commented that the Dolls' names all seem to be taken from the Military Alphabet Code. I felt pretty stupid for not having noticed that myself - am I the only one?
